I liked the self care, the stages of grief and the co-parenting tools. The self care and realizing where I can get stuck emotionally was very helpful. I knew how important it was to talk to my children, but learning about the stages of grief they're going through made me want to be more careful about how I talk and more empathetic to how they may be feeling. The tools for working with my co-parent I think will be helpful. Knowing to avoid trigger, not to get sucked into negative thoughts, words, or interactions, and trying to build on successes are going to be instrumental in changing how we communicate going forward. I think right now as the court part is still happening, it will be hard to implement all of these, but I hope as time moves on we will both move fully into the "moving on" part of our emotional journeys and leave this behind as much as possible.

Although most of this doesn't apply to my situation, this was a very good class for a more typical angry divorce without abuse and high levels of manipulation. I've recommended it to a few friends.

Breaking down the different aspects and standpoints of the individuals involved. What is important to our son, to me and to my co-parent. Also, I was glad to see realistic suggestions to handle conflict as it arises.

The downloadable handouts and lists to review what the major points for conflict resolution, child sensitive periods and levels of emotion are very helpful. Reviews at the end of sections help the information sink in better and come to mind in the future easier.

It made me think hard about a lot of things. I learned a lot from it! I just wish me and my co parent could agree unfortunately we can’t seem to meet halfway on anything. We had a very rocky past and I guess we need the help of the court to decide.

I liked the information that was provided during the lessons. It really allowed me to think about how my parenting is and things I could change. For example learning my child’s temperament, this allows me to find new ways to approach him during an off day.

Learning about how it affects children. I’ve been looking up information about it, so I appreciate all the info and resources here. People should be encouraged to take classes like this when they are pregnant. Or even in school? Earlier than divorce time.

Very well designed program using excellent visual, audio, text, supportive list, forms, guide lines, examples, much much resources, notes available outside this class. Forcing you to think, feel, rethink, listen to other co-parents example, struggles, triumphs, getting stuck, moving forward, making lemonade from lemons...lol. Great break down to digestible levels of the different milestones, enriching us with perspectives and statistical data for reference. I am super happy that I was mandated to take this class and instead of the 8hrs class I choose to take the 12 hrs class. In this case the more is better. Great job, shut out to "Onlineparentingprograms", congratulations for your team and hard work to make this class available for the best interest of so many unknown children and parents. Thank you!

I like how detailed it was. It went thru all levels of co-parent and breaking down how it affects not only the child but the parents. Also love that gives a lot advice how to handle a lot situations and videos that a lot people can relate to with a lot couples that go thru similar situations.

I really liked all the education the class gave regarding developmental times. I also liked the education it gave about children's brain development and trauma. This class made me take accountability in areas I didn't see before. I am grateful and will now utilize a whole lot of tools in any way I can. It helps to see things through your childs eyes and make adjustments to your parenting habits.
