I like that the course covered all areas like pre divorce and post divorce and that it focused on how the divorce affects the entire family as a whole.

I really like how it was at my own pace, I was able to log in and out of my work. I liked how I was able to get work sheets to print out and it went over the correct answers and gave an example.

I like the in depth knowledge and resources around ACEs and child development. I liked the detailed planner for child custody and visitation. I feel this class taught me some things I didn't know and a lot about ways to be a better co-parent.

The units are split up in manageable chunks, there is specific info on development and conflict that I found useful. The culmination of the class into an actual plan (having a template) is very good.

I liked how it reminded us of things the children go through after a divorce so I can help them more. I liked how this class showed me different ways to relieve stress and manage my emotions...I will be able to help our children better. I like how it brought up abuse and how important it is to address it and get help and support.

I learned a lot not only about how to be a better co parent but about myself and my child. I gained tools to help guide me when conflict arises and I will be able to effectively use them. I will be able to communicate with my co parent without conflict and be open minded to his requests or negotiations. I believe this course has taught me a lot that I didn't know went into a healthy co parenting relationship for the child.

It has shown me a multitude of areas where my co-parent does the wrong things. I hope when she takes this class, she will own her behaviors and learn something from the information provided.

Learning more about when you can and cannot do decision making together and when parallel is best, not just putting children first but also have to put yourself first, values are important to have and know, learning other ways to try and communicate in high conflict coparenting.

I liked how in depth the course was and learning about the psychology of us as parents and about children and how we affect them. I also enjoyed learning about some of the legal rights and views the courts have regarding custody and parenting time.

I liked learning the 4 ways to communicate with my coparent. I am at a point where I can let go of what my coparent says and how he disagrees and is confrontational. He can enjoy that approach on his own alone. I choose to disengage.

I really liked how the information was divided into units. I found the stages of grief and the unit on grief in general very informative. I had also learned a lot about trauma in the past, but I really enjoy how this course applied the aces framework to coparenting. Honestly, I thought the course was great. I wished that I had been assigned to take this course 12 years ago. And might have saved us a lot of heartache time, money expense, and frustration. . It is somewhat comforting to know that I am not the only person going through this as well. I enjoyed seeing the videos of the different couples and hearing about their issues. And for someone who has never gone through this process before, I learned a lot about the legal process, and that would’ve been helpful for me to understand at the beginning. Mostly because it would’ve helped me understand my rights, which I didn’t.

I like that it related the development of the brain to where we are in the coping stage and where the kids are developmentally during traumatic incidents in life. Also I appreciate that this program walked me through how to help my child cope.
